PLANT MANAGER

Manpower also provides a range of staffing solutions, engagement, and consulting services worldwide. We are seeking an experiencedPLANT MANAGERto lead production site in Bulgaria. The selected candidate will act as a key executive leader, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic directives while driving operational excellence, safety, and sustainable growth.

Description

• Oversee daily plant operations, working closely with department and unit managers to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Act as a liaison between corporate engineering and the Bulgaria plant to guarantee technical alignment and best practices.
• Participate in production volume planning together with the Strategic Planning Manager, based on forecasted orders.
• Represent the company before state authorities and regulatory bodies, including matters related to permits and compliance obligations.
• Ensure safe working conditions and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety standards, while strictly implementing environmental requirements.
• Monitor and support the progress of current and future projects, ensuring proper coordination and resource allocation.
• Provide strategic leadership of human resources. 

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or similar).
• 3-5 years of proven managerial experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing company.
• Project management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Very good command of English or Spanish (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and workforce management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis (Excel).
• Experience in managing supplier relations, banking institutions, and external partners.
• Ability to represent the company and mediate with public institutions and regulatory authorities.
