We are looking for a competent and motivated professional to join a team in the position of: Costs Controller

Description

•  Ensure production cost calculation and cost optimal solutions with regards to production costs in ongoing R&D projects, therefore:
•  Check of production cost calculations with regard to the data basis;
• Align monthly status of production costs calculation (per project) with cost targets
• Challenge production engineering with regard to the technical solution used in the current specification
• Report top cost drivers in the production cost calculation per project;
• Prepare monthly overview to cost development of production costs for existing products by key products by plant
• Check existing product cost calculations for optimization potentials, e.g. with regards to specification of parts and components
• Provide monthly overview of optimization status and optimization potentials

Requirements

•  Several years of professional experience in production or cost controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company
•  Knowledge of production cost calculation, product and job costing, as well as conducting variance analyses
•  Confident use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP CO/FI)
•  Very good MS Excel skills
•  Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
•  Structured, precise, and results-oriented working style
•  Very good English skills are a must
