Manpower Bulgaria – your career partner!For one of our international clients, a growing and diversified business with operations across several European markets, we are looking for an experienced finance executive to take the role of FINANCIAL DIRECTORAbout the role:The Group Financial Director will join the executive leadership team and will be responsible for the financial management and development of the Group across multiple countries.Reporting directly to the owners, the role combines strategic financial leadership, Group reporting, financial planning, governance, and business partnering, with a strong focus on strengthening financial processes and supporting the Group's continued growth.

Description

Key responsibilities:• Lead Group-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management;• Oversee finance and accounting activities across multiple countries;• Manage external accounting providers supporting international subsidiaries;• Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements;• Lead the transition towards IFRS-based Group reporting;• Establish consistent financial policies, reporting standards, controls, and procedures across the Group;• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the owners and leadership team;• Oversee cash flow, working capital, treasury, tax, audit, and financial risk management;• Evaluate investment opportunities, business cases, and capital allocation decisions;• Coordinate Group-level audits and relationships with external advisers;• Lead and develop the finance and accounting function;• Drive finance transformation, process improvement, and organizational development.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership experience;• Relevant experience as Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, Deputy CFO, CFO, or similar senior finance position;• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or project-based environment is strongly preferred;• Strong experience with consolidation and multi-entity financial reporting;• Strong knowledge of IFRS, with experience in IFRS implementation or transition projects;• Experience working with international finance structures and outsourced accounting providers;• Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance, risk management, and corporate reporting;• Experience in financial planning, investment appraisal, capital allocation, and business partnering;• Good understanding of operational and production processes, cost structures, working capital, and business performance;• Experience with finance transformation and process improvement initiatives;• Fluent English;• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
