On behalf of our trusted partner, we are currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing international team. About the Unit: Our partner has an ambitious strategic vision to become a future-oriented leader in crop nutrition, driving the development of sustainable agriculture and advanced digital solutions. With a global presence across approximately 150 countries and a workforce of around 17,000 employees, the organization is investing heavily in innovation to transform food production into a more efficient and sustainable system. A newly established business function focused on farming solutions leads this transformation by continuously improving both the product offering and ways of working. The Engineering Department plays a key role in developing and scaling innovative “on-farm” digital and integrated tools that contribute to a more transparent food system and improved environmental outcomes.
Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize data pipelines to support analytical and marketing-related use cases • Build, maintain, and continuously improve mission-critical data products and ensure their integration with downstream applications • Ensure reliable deployments and apply infrastructure-as-code best practices • Design and implement scalable data models aligned with business needs and contribute to improving data governance across European operations • Contribute to architectural decisions within a modern cloud-based data platform and support the development of the broader data ecosystem • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across engineering, analytics, regional markets, and business teams to deliver cross-functional solutions
Profile: • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles • Experience with data manipulation and distributed systems; cloud environment experience is strongly preferred Technical Skills and Methodologies: • SQL, Spark, DBT • Python, AWS, Airflow, Terraform, Docker • CI/CD, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Kafka (nice to have) • Agile / Scrum Personal skills: Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, sense of ownership, and curiosity.
