Systems Engineer (IAC)

Short Description

Our client is a leading international bank-insurance group with tens of thousands of employees and millions of customers across Europe. As part of the expansion of its technology hub, the company is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer (IaC) to help drive the transition toward fully automated, software-defined infrastructure and next-generation platform services. The organization is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, combining enterprise-grade IT with modern technologies in digital banking, automation, and AI.

Description

- Ensure the security, reliability, availability, and recoverability of all components within the IaC pipeline;- Support engineering teams in onboarding and adopting Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices;- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced performance and operational issues related to the IaC ecosystem;- Collaborate with senior software engineers to develop new features, enhance existing functionality, and address known issues;- Contribute to the development of a centralized web application providing real-time visibility of infrastructure services;- Design and extend a service broker framework (Python-based, Flask, Celery) exposing infrastructure services through a unified REST API;

Requirements

Key Requirements:- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux;- 5+ years of experience in datacenter infrastructure or platform engineering;- Solid background in system design and architecture;- Experience working with REST APIs and developing libraries for REST-based integrations;Personal Profile:- Fast and autonomous learner;- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills;- Fluent in English (written and spoken) in an international environment;- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement;- Proactive, responsible, and comfortable challenging the status quo;- Flexible and adaptable to dynamic environments;
