Troubleshooting Technician

We are looking for an experienced and motivated specialist to join the technical team of a global leader in innovative and modern transport solutions. The position focuses on highly specialized diagnostics and maintenance of rolling stock.

Key Responsibilities: • Specialized Troubleshooting: Carry out in-depth technical investigations, tests, and repair activities on high-speed trains during commissioning and warranty periods. • Failure Data Management: Regularly register all deviations and failures in a specialized database, including configuration data to track system performance. • Analysis and Testing: Execute test procedures to evaluate system functionality and perform failure analysis on components returned for repair. • Technical Cooperation: Work in close collaboration with engineering and production teams during the implementation of field modifications and specific technical investigations. • Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS): Strictly apply and enforce EHS and security rules at the customer site. • Process Optimization: Provide expert recommendations for preventative actions and suggestions for product enhancements based on field experience (Return of Experience).

Requirements

Requirements: • Education: Secondary or Higher Technical education (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics). • Professional Experience: Proven experience in diagnostics, testing, and maintenance of complex industrial systems. • Language Skills: Proficiency in English (mandatory). • Technical Skills: Knowledge in mechanics, electronics, and the use of measuring instruments. Previous experience with railway rolling stock is considered a strong advantage. • Personal Qualities: High degree of self-government, initiative, and willingness to travel for initial training in Europe.
