Description
- Submitting for review and approval of transactional postings to support closure of the financial books (journal postings/processing, adjustments, allocations and transfers)
- Substantiating account/general ledger balance reconciliations
- Performing and reporting on ongoing and monthly accounting transactional activities including journal and allocation processing, Balance Sheet reconciliation and review, period close and related reporting for nominated area
- Presenting monthly financial results to key stakeholders and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Partnering closely with Commercial Finance business partners, including understanding of the budget/forecast for nominated areas and providing first level commentary on key movements
- Raising issues with senior management and helping resolve them
- Provision of accurate numbers for all disclosures in the annual report and statutory accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of two years of experience on similar accounting position;
- Extensive experience of performing bank reconciliations on complex bank accounts;
- Understanding of foreign exchange transactions;
- Experience to work with ERP system;
- Fluency in English language;
