Description

Job overview: • This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure projects across Europe within a dynamic, multicultural environment, with exposure to complex cross-border operations and strategic stakeholders. • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from initiation through commissioning, ensuring delivery in line with contractual scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements. The position involves close coordination with international teams, EPC partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure successful execution across multiple jurisdictions.Key Responsibilities• Lead end-to-end execution of international energy projects, from planning and engineering through installation, commissioning, and handover. • Manage cross-functional coordination between engineering, procurement, supply chain, logistics, construction, and service teams across multiple countries. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within approved budget, and in accordance with contractual scope and company standards. • Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize Project Management Plans, including schedules, resource allocation, cost control, risk management, and reporting structures. • Monitor project progress, identify risks and deviations proactively, and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain project objectives. • Coordinate communication and alignment with customers, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and local authorities. • Support contract administration activities, including review of EPC and subcontractor agreements, change orders, claims management, and commercial negotiations. • Ensure effective utilization of project resources and maintain visibility on project priorities across geographically distributed teams. • Oversee project documentation, reporting, dashboards, and governance processes in accordance with internal procedures and client requirements. • Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, regulatory requirements, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies across all project phases. • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project reviews, and progress reporting to senior management and external partners. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to project execution best practices, lessons learned, and operational efficiency enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the energy, infrastructure, construction, or industrial sectors. • Proven experience managing international and cross-border projects, preferably within EPC or multinational environments. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline. • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is considered a strong advantage. • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contract management, risk management, and project controls. • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing external contractors and suppliers. • Solid understanding of international project delivery, permitting, logistics, and stakeholder management. • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and project reporting tools. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English. German language proficiency is considered an advantage. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. • Willingness to travel internationally as required by project activities.
