• We are looking for a technically strong and people-oriented leader who will oversee the Engineering and Technical Department, combining engineering leadership with technical operations management.
• The role involves leading electronics and mechanical engineering teams, ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and optimization of production equipment and facilities, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives within an international manufacturing environment.
• The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise, proven management experience, and effective leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams, optimize technical processes, and ensure high standards of equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Description

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Engineering and Technical Department, managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers responsible for electronics, mechanics, and technical support activities;• Organize, plan, and control all activities related to preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines, equipment, and technical facilities;• Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of production equipment by implementing maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives;• Manage troubleshooting activities and provide technical support for complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation-related issues;• Develop and optimize maintenance processes, procedures, standards, and documentation to improve equipment availability and operational efficiency;• Coordinate and monitor preventive maintenance plans, equipment inspections, repairs, and improvement activities;• Analyze equipment performance indicators, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions;• Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers for technical support, repairs, and equipment improvements;• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production processes;• Support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new machines and technical equipment;• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, internal standards, and applicable regulations related to machinery and technical operations;• Participate in budgeting, resource planning, and strategic decisions related to technical infrastructure, equipment reliability, and department development.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering – Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field;
• Proven experience in engineering management or leadership role within an international manufacturing, engineering, or technology environment;
• Strong technical background in electronics and/or mechanical engineering;
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical projects;
• Good understanding of product development processes, design, testing, and industrialization;
• Experience with project management methodologies and cross-functional collaboration;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
• Ability to work effectively with international stakeholders;
• Very good command of English language (written and spoken).
