Manpower Bulgaria – your career partner!For our client, a Bulgarian company and part of an established manufacturer of laboratory and industrial analytical equipment, we are looking for a Chemistry graduate professional to join their Service team as Chemist – Laboratory Equipment Service Engineer.About the role:This is a specialized technical role combining chemistry, analytical instrumentation and field service.You will work with laboratory analytical equipment, supporting customers with installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical guidance. The role involves regular visits to customer sites and close cooperation with international technical teams. The position is suitable for both experienced professionals or motivated Junior candidates, recent graduates with relevant scientific education. The company provides comprehensive technical and product training.

Description

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of laboratory analytical equipment;• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and basic technical diagnostics;• Identifying and resolving technical issues with laboratory instruments;• Providing technical support and guidance to customers;• Training customers in the correct operation and use of laboratory equipment;• Working with technical documentation, manuals and service procedures in English;• Communicating with international technical teams and the equipment manufacturer;• Participating in technical and product training in Bulgaria and abroad;• Visiting customer sites and providing on-site service and support;• Following established service and quality procedures.

Requirements

• University degree or final-year studies in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or a related field;• Good command of English B2, sufficient for technical documentation, communication and training;• Technical aptitude and genuine interest in laboratory analytical equipment;• Good computer literacy;• Valid Category B driving license;• Willingness to travel regularly within Bulgaria and occasionally abroad;• Analytical and problem-solving skills;• Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with customers;• Flexibility and willingness to develop specialized technical expertise;• Experience with laboratory analytical equipment, analytical methods, Quality Control or pharmaceutical manufacturing will be considered a strong advantage.Business TravelTravel is an integral part of the role. Depending on customer projects, the position may involve regular one-day business trips with occasional overnight stays, as well as longer trips of several days.
