About the RoleFor one of our clients, a global technology leader, we are looking for an Embedded Hardware Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded systems, contributing to hardware design, development, and optimization. The position involves schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, and testing to ensure high-performance hardware solutions.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop hardware solutions for embedded systems, including circuit schematics and PCB layouts. - Select components while ensuring cost, performance, and reliability compliance. - Prepare and review hardware specifications, schematics, and design documentation. - Perform board bring-up, debugging, and validation of embedded hardware. - Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams for seamless integration. - Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for optimized designs. - Work with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT). - Support regulatory compliance testing (FCC, CE, RoHS, etc.). - Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and propose design improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.- Experience in embedded hardware design (open to experienced professionals and fresh graduates with relevant coursework/projects).- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools like Pulsonix, Altium Designer, Cadence, Allegro, Eagle, or KiCad.- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory interfaces, power management, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, etc.). - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.). - Familiarity with high-speed design, EMI/EMC considerations, and thermal management. - Experience with hardware validation, manufacturing processes, and certification compliance. - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team with excellent communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with RF design and wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, etc.). Knowledge of low-power embedded systems and battery-operated devices. Understanding of firmware development for hardware bring-up and testing.
