Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Head of Sales to lead and drive sustainable commercial growth at country level. This is a senior leadership role with both strategic and operational impact, part of the local leadership team. The position is responsible for defining and executing sales strategy, building strong customer partnerships, and developing a high-performing sales organization.

Description

  • Define and execute country sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Drive profitable growth through strong planning, forecasting, and execution
  • Lead key customer and distributor negotiations and manage commercial terms
  • Build and develop long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts
  • Translate customer, channel, and market insights into demand planning and execution
  • Lead Sales Excellence initiatives across channels
  • Build, lead, and develop a motivated, performance-driven sales team
  • Optimize sales structure, resources, and incentives to achieve targets

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, including senior sales leadership roles
  • Strong background in sales strategy, channel and distributor management
  • Experience working closely with marketing teams is considered a strong advantage
  • Proven people leadership and negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-driven approach
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English; SAP knowledge is a plus
