For our international partner, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to handle payroll processing and compliance for Bulgaria.

Description

The Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing for Bulgaria, including gross-to-net calculations, timesheets, and payments. The role entails ensuring continued compliance with Bulgarian tax, labor, and social security regulations, processing social security contributions, health insurance, and personal income tax, and handling employee payroll queries in both Bulgarian and English. Cooperation with HR, Finance, and external providers is key, alongside maintaining meticulous payroll records and reports.

Requirements

  • Proven payroll experience specifically in Bulgaria.
  • Strong knowledge of Bulgarian payroll, tax, and labor legislation.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bulgarian and English.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
