On behalf of our client, a well-established international company operating in the pharmaceutical and nutrition industries, we are looking for an experienced professional to join their team as a:                                                                 Planning SpecialistIf you enjoy turning forecasts into action, coordinating complex supply chains and working with international partners, this could be the right opportunity for you.In this role, you will take ownership of production and supply planning activities across a global network of suppliers and contract manufacturers. Acting as a key link between demand, production and material availability, you will play a critical role in ensuring reliable product supply and seamless operations.

Description

• Lead production and supply planning activities to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) regarding planning, forecasting and material requirements
• Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply forecasts based on business needs and sales projections
• Coordinate production schedules, product releases and shipments in compliance with GDP/GMP requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure alignment between internal ERP systems and external manufacturing partners
• Coordinate material availability, transportation and allocation of finished and semi-finished products
• Communicate demand forecasts to suppliers and support timely procurement of APIs, excipients and packaging materials
• Maintain ERP master data and planning KPIs to support operational excellence
• Work closely with Sourcing, Quality, Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs and Project Management teams
• Identify supply risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes

Requirements

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Business Administration or a related field
• Previous experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Demand Planning or Supply Chain Operations
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, chemical or another highly regulated industry will be considered a strong advantage
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel functionalities
• Strong coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in an international environment
• Excellent command of English
• Spanish language skills will be considered an advantage
• Proactive, structured and results-oriented mindset
