Description

• Review and understand project designs, identify discrepancies, and report findings to the Construction Manager.
• Coordinate and follow up on grid connection activities with utilities and local authorities.
• Monitor construction progress and prepare regular progress and material reports.
• Track and manage construction material deliveries and stock levels on site.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, Bulgarian regulations, and approved procedures.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards, inspections, and the project Quality Control (QC) program.
• Oversee the quality and accuracy of electrical installation works in accordance with the approved design.
• Supervise HV substation construction and HV transmission line installation activities.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the Construction Manager, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of high-voltage (HV) procedures, safety requirements, testing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in High Voltage Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within energy, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Experience in the construction of power plants, HV substations, and HV transmission lines.
• Experience with grid connection of renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind farms, and battery energy storage systems) will be considered a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of electrical standards, construction practices, and relevant Bulgarian regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to project sites when required.
