Description

Your Role: As part of the Managed Services team, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of complex messaging infrastructures. Your mission will include both proactive monitoring and reactive troubleshooting, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Manage incidents and problems to maintain stable service delivery Perform root cause analysis and implement system optimizations Monitor infrastructure with SCOM and other enterprise-grade tools Design and document high-availability Exchange server environments Execute regular patch rollouts and system updates Maintain up-to-date operational documentation Support knowledge transfer to Level 1 and 2 teams Provide hands-on technical support to internal stakeholders and clients Manage mailboxes, databases, groups, and distribution lists

Requirements

Your Profile:Experience: 3+ years in Exchange administration in enterprise environments Education: Degree in IT or completed IT specialist trainingTechnical Skills:Expertise in Exchange SE, Exchange Hybrid, Exchange 365 Load balancer configuration knowledgeCertifications:Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (MCSA/MCSE) ITIL Foundation or equivalentLanguages:German (B2 level or higher) Fluent EnglishAdditional Requirements:Strong communication and teamwork skills Availability for 24/7 on-call rotation Commitment to data security compliance; clean criminal record requiredNice to Have:Experience with hybrid Exchange/cloud environments Familiarity with Azure AD, Entra Connect, cloud-based identity solutions Hands-on knowledge of MySQL/Galera Cluster, Debian Linux OS, Ansible, Terraform Experience with tools like Greenbone, Dell OME, Powerchute
